Parking permits - zakelijk parkeren 1 March 2018

One question we get asked all the time is, “if I’ve got a parking permit, will Parkd work?” We used to say, “Yes but you’ll need to tell us each time you park in your permit zone.” Not anymore! Today, we’re bringing permits to automatic parking.

We’ve made it super simple to set up automatic parking for your permits, here’s how:

  1. Park Up

Park up as normal. You’ll receive our automatic parking notification that lets you know we’ve started your session.

    Park Up

  2. Cancel Your Session

Open the Parkd app by tapping the notification. Once you open the notification, tap the red button to cancel your parking session.

    Cancel Your Session

  3. Tap “I Have a Permit”

We’ll ask why you’re cancelling your session. Simply tap on “I have a permit”. Parkd will find your location, match it to the relevant parking zone that you have a permit for and connect it to your account.

    Tap "I Have a Permit"

  4. You’re Set Up

Next time you park in this zone, Parkd will know you don’t need to pay there.

In over 20 cities, you can now set up automatic parking for your permit zones. We’re ready in Amsterdam, Den Haag and Rotterdam, to name a few. You can find a full list of cities at the bottom of this page.

We implemented permit parking after listening to all of you. What do you want to see next in Parkd? Let us know.
