{"id":554,"date":"2018-04-12T15:39:08","date_gmt":"2018-04-12T13:39:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/52.56.69.55\/?post_type=newsitem&#038;p=554"},"modified":"2018-06-11T20:07:44","modified_gmt":"2018-06-11T18:07:44","slug":"intertraffic-2018-automatic-parking-in-amsterdam","status":"publish","type":"newsitem","link":"https:\/\/parkd.com\/en\/news\/intertraffic-2018-automatic-parking-in-amsterdam\/","title":{"rendered":"InterTraffic 2018: Automatic Parking in Amsterdam"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Amsterdam: home to quaint canals, around a million bikes, and this year, InterTraffic 2018: the largest gathering of traffic and mobility professionals worldwide.\u00a0Being the perfect place to discover the future of our industry, we headed over to Amsterdam.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Stationed in the Smart Mobility area, we were ready to show off the world of automatic parking. Within this area, companies exhibited various solutions to all of the major changes happening in the traffic industry. From the power of automated driving to the challenges presented by societal changes; there was something to be found for just about everyone.<\/p>\n<p>With over 30,000 visitors from 134 different countries, we needed to stand out \u2013 so we did. Right in the middle of our booth, we had a fairground claw machine filled with our dongles. \u201cRoll up! Roll up!\u201d we shouted as we explained the game; \u201cIf you get the dongle, you keep the dongle!\u201d As attendees navigated our claw, we\u2019d tell them all about how Parkd could change the way they park while allowing them to share their experiences in our sector.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-556\" src=\"http:\/\/parkd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/IMG_0186-300x274.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"274\" srcset=\"https:\/\/parkd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/IMG_0186-300x274.jpg 300w, https:\/\/parkd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/IMG_0186-768x703.jpg 768w, https:\/\/parkd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/IMG_0186-1024x937.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Our booth promoted strong conversations about the data produced by connected cars and how it could be leveraged to tackle traffic patterns within cities. These conversations were some of the most valuable things we picked up at InterTraffic 2018.<\/p>\n<p>In short: we had some incredible conversations, over 20 people won a Parkd dongle and\u2026 we ate far too much sushi <em>(Seriously&#8230; the sushi bar was so good!)<\/em>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":555,"template":"","class_list":["post-554","newsitem","type-newsitem","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.4 -
